I’m praying someone can give me a little advice or insight to my predicament.
I had been awarded PR status back in 2008 but with changes to personal circumstances I had never fulfilled the requirements through starting a family with my partner who did not hold PR status as my PR was part of family application where I still qualified as a dependent.
Wit the introduction of ETA I was prevented from entering the country and advised I would have to relinquish my PR status although the card had expired as I had not been made aware that PR status doesn’t expire.
I am now concerned that this will affect my spouse and I applying for express entry with our children.
Can I appeal having relinquished my PR card or reapply? If anyone has advice or insight that would be massively helpful!
