PR Secondary Review

PR Renewal given in April 2015, received email for color copy of passport/entry-exit record, sent all docs requested.........so secondary review and TODAY received email for new specification photograph....what it means ? anybody can advise please...whether we can consider that this STRANGERS are working on secondary review files or sleeping on files.....and snatching sleep of so many innocent people...

Anybody in Secondary review for 1 year and got request for new photographs, what it means....?!?

Photo specs were changed around November last year. So PR card applications submitted after that have to send photos with those new specs. Since your application went to secondary review, the PR card whenever issued will need the photos with new specs and that's why they asked you to send it.

Thanks, do we consider it a positive sign that they are now processing secondary review cases ? Beca we never got any update for last 12 months.....

Indiacan Secondary review cases use to take 10-12 months but as per your case they are working on april 2015 cases means now secondary review cases will take approx 13-15 months. All their efforts to reduce processing time is for new applications but for old applicants are suffering from long waiting time.
