Hi,

I was wondering when would be the earliest that I can apply for renewal of my PR card, My card expires in Oct 08, I am required to travel for an extended period of time beginning this fall. Can I apply now, ie, July-Aug 07?
My sister seems to have misplaced her PR card, if she applies for a replacement, will she get it for a period of 5 years from the time of application or would the card just be replaced with the same date of expiry as the lost card.
