Hi Everyone, can someone share their experience with PR card renewal. My fiance received a letter on April 22nd that his application to renew has been received. How long is the renewal process taking ?

Around 2 months right now plus a few additional weeks for mailing time.

Here's my complete timeline (till it was mailed, did not receive the card yet). My application was acknowledged the day before your fiance's. I found it impossible to get anyone on the phone to speak about this - after going through several options and entering all kinds of details - the system read out the information available online and then said there were too many callers and hung up.

Permanent Resident Card
  1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on March 23, 2022.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on April 21, 2022.
  3. We started processing your application on April 21, 2022.
  4. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on June 8, 2022.

Hi guys, I submitted my renewal application of PR card through online portal. what are the next steps and what is the current processing time these days for applying online.

How long it took from the day you submitted the application to the time you received the card?

i have linked my renew pr card to check the status of my application, but it linked to my PR card application (not renew one), that is belongs to 5 years ago. the submitted date is O.K, but the status showed that the final decision has been made 5 years ago.
what can i do?
