PR renewal duration since landing??

Please I need your advice.
I landed back in july2015,my pr expires in sep 2020. I then came back in march 2018 to canada stayed for about 6 months, but i have to leave to complete my studies. Can i come back to canada in july 2020 and stay two years to meet residency obligations then renew pr? Or do they calacualte 730 days since day of landing which was july 2015?

Hi

You can come to Canada in July 2020 but may be reported for failing to meet the RO. If you are reported, you can appeal but as studying abroad is not grounds for H&C, you can expect your PR status to be revoked and to be told to leave Canada. If you are not reported, you can remain in Canada for 2 continuous years to once again be in compliance with the RO.
