I applied for renewal of my PR Card and sent the application by courier on 1st April 21.

Following is the time line for processing.

Permanent Resident Card
  1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on April 6, 2021.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on July 19, 2021.
  3. We started processing your application on July 19, 2021.
  4. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on August 18, 2021.
I sharing this for the information of the members. It took 5 months to process the renewal.
My card was expiring in Dec.21. Now the expiry date is brought forward to August 26
