Since you applied inland you needed to inform IRCC once you left Canada.
Read the email again there are steps to follow if you are outside Canada at the bottom.
Had informed IRCC. No steps there. It just says to update once am back in Canada. But I don't plan to enter Canada before PPR and copr issuance since I can't leave job in current country where I am working without COPR.
