just wonder if the new proposed law for citizenship ( 4/6 years ) will have other parts that affect PR obligations . ?

means will the PR residence requirements will be changed as well .?
 
No. There is nothing in the new Bill regarding this.
 
i just heard that residency requirements will be changed not to exceed 6 month in every year outside Canada .
 
That's to qualify for citizenship, not PR residency obligation requirements.

They used to have a PR residency requirement of 6/12 months but it was changed in 2002 or 2003. I have not seen any plans of changing it again.
