PR landed as married (under FSW) and soon separated

Hello. I want to know if my PR status will be affected when I and my husband landed as married but separated after a month. I discovered the adultery he committed and eventually fell apart. I am the principal applicant and he was my accompanying spouse. Will we possibly lose our PR status when we file our taxes as separated (still legally married)? We're close to one year here in Canada after landing last year. Thank you.
