PR Holders unable to fly due to travel restrictions by Indian government - Help!

Hello all,

Due to the COVID19 crisis, many of us over here (in India) who had received their PR had planned to fly to Canada between the months of March - May cannot travel due to the travel restrictions put into place until 3rd May 2020.

Is there anyone here who is in the same boat? How are you managing the situation? ?

If you couldn’t travel you should send in a webform asking for an extension and include proof of your cancelled ticket. Then you have to wait until the borders open up. CIC will start addressing extension requests at that point.
