Hi, I along with my son and wife have got Canada pr. Currently my wife is expecting our second child and she is in India. Wat is the process for applying PR for the new born
One parent will need to be in Canada. Your wife needs to be careful to remain compliant with her RO.
Have you already 'landed' as PRs?
Will the child be born in India?

I have landed as PR. But my wife and kid r planning to join me post delivery
I assume your wife's COPR is valid until after the birth. You will have to sponsor the child after birth. You must remain in Canada while the application is processed, which can take 6 months to a year. While the application is being processed, the child cannot visit Canada. You may apply for visitor visa for the child, but it may not be approved because of the PR application. In the meanwhile, your wife must complete her landing before her COPR expires. Otherwise, you will have to sponsor your wife also.
If the due date is not close, I will advise that your wife should travel to Canada also and deliver in Canada. This way her own PR will be finalized and the child will become Canadian citizen.
