PR EE application- CEC

Hi Everyone,

I received the ITA in end of July 2020 and submitted all documents on 29th Sept 2020 online for express entry application under CEC class. Also, I was able to submit the biometric 1st Dec 2020 and updated online on 2nd Dec 2020.

My question are

1. Should I apply for BOWP (Bridge Open work permit) because my current post grade work permit is getting expires in 80 days.

2. Does anyone receive BOWP approval before their PR result?

3. Does anyone receive their PR result who had received ITA in end of July?

1. Apply for BOWP now since it’s taking 3-4 months now to get approval. So you’ll be on implied status while waiting for your PR.

2. It depends on your timeline. Some who applied for BOWP get approved before they received their PR while there are others who’re lucky and get their PR application approved before getting their BOWP. If the latter happens, you can request for a refund.

Alternatively, you can google immitracker and filter September 2020 AORs.

1. If you want. You should before it expires if you want it.
2. Some do some don't.
3. I'm pretty sure some have, it's an impossible question to answer.
