Hey All,
My husband landed on January 23, 2015 at Vancouver but he still has not received his PR card. On the CIC website, it says 25 days for new PR cards. Were we supposed to do something? As per our lawyer, the immigration officer was supposed to take the in Canada address and then we would receive it within in 6-8 weeks and it has been over 2 months now. How do I contact them? The CIC website is pretty useless. Help? Please? Thank you in Advance!! :)

Is the address in your application the same as your current address ???

If you had change of address it should have been informed to CIC,
It sounds like you had a change of address and your lawyer failed to inform immigration.

If that is the case the PR card may have gone to the address in your application.

Yup, there has been no change in address. And they asked my husband again the address and he gave them the address. I'm confused... :'(

you need to call the CIC call center. they will be able to tell you whether it was mailed out or if it's still in process. if it was mailed, then you will have to wait until 6 weeks after the mailed date before petitioning for a new one. it could simply be lost in the mail. it happened to me.

My husband called them and they said that they didn't have the address which is weird b/c he gave them the address when he landed. They said that on our file it's our lawyer's address so we gave them the address again. They said it was ready and if we don't get it within 4 weeks, to call them again. Sigh. .
