Dear All

If I land on Jan 1 2015 -- and since it now takes about 2 months to get PR card after landing -- will the start date on PR card show Jan 1 2015 (ie the landing date) or March 1 2015 (the date that the PR card issued) ?

Also I will need to fulfill PR obligation in ANY rolling 5 year period starting from landed date or PR card start date ?

On which of the above two dates do I become a PR ?

You become a PR on your landing date. You must fulfill the residency obligation for any rolling 5 year period from your landing date.
