I had applied for a PR card renewal back in April with urgent processing because I had some upcoming travel. I included pre-paid plane tickets, hotel reservations, letter from my employer saying I needed to go and everything. Anyway, my PR card didn't arrive.
I have called and was just informed my application was forwarded to Sydney for "verification". Although apparently it's not a part of the normal process, "it happens sometimes".
I suspect this is because I travel every month for at least 3-4 days and have lots of stamps in my passport. (I more than fulfilled my obligation days in Canada, though)
Does anybody know about this *verification* process and how long it takes? :-[ is there anything I can do? Thank you very much in advance
