Ah Toby, I realized you haven't landed yet so you might not be familiar with the abbreviations LCBO, but I can guarantee you that it is incontrovertible proof of purchases made in Canada and my whereabouts could be even narrowed down by the VO to the province of Ontario. 8)

I just looked at a recent statement to see if there is a store number associated with my local LCBO on the line item on my statement. I suspect there is, but I didn't find an entry on this statement. What I did see is a payment for using the 407 toll road here in TO and several entries for using my credit card in parking meters. Ah, more proof. Thinking of that I have a vehicle registered here and I have routine maintenance records, emergency repair records, insurance policies, and CAA coverage.

"If your husband is a Canadian citizen, just show that you were with him and you can count ALL days toward your PR quota -- no matter whether those days were in our outside Canada. I say "just show", as if that were easy, but that requires its own type of proof. A different topic."

Shall I start a new thread? My partner is a citizen (though he is not my husband), so I do note travel when I accompany him. What type of proof would you suggest for proving I am accompanying him in Canada. Hmm, daily photo with the morning paper.

Allison

I found this in google: ICBO means Liquor Control Board of Ontario

I'm in BC, so I'm not familiar with this abbreviation as well. :P

Steaky is it called the LCBBC where you are?

I know in Quebec it's called the SAQ or Société des alcools du Québec.
