There is no problem if you leave Canada before PR cards arrive.
If you need to return to Canada before you get your PR cards, you need to:
- Apply for a travel document from Canadian Embassy abroad.
- Enter form USA in a private car.

Getting another stamping done for One time entry into Canada can be a hassle.
If you have a US Visa then it is very simple to enter Canada with you Passport and CoPR via border with your personal or rental car.

I have claimed my residency on Feb 3rd, 2016(at St. Stephen border). I haven't received my PR card, is that normal or I should contact Cic? Any advices?
I would need valuable inputs, received an email from IRCC on 3rd September stating will be sending PR card to provided address, it’s been 20 days now haven’t received PR card yet, need to travel within a week, wounding how long would it take to arrive new PR card, thanks in advance.
