We, our family are currently living in Canada under PR status and we came to Canada on March 2014 for receiving PR cards at first time, and then we all left the country after 2 months. In second, we came back to Canada last Dec 2017 and established our home in Alberta.
Here is problem that when our PR card expired on Jun 2019, we are unable to comply the requirement that PR shall be lived in Canada for 730 days out of 5 years.
In this case, if we staying in Canada after PR card expired, is it still legal to work and live in the country, and can we apply new PR card after completes 730 days roughly Dec 2019?

Expired card doesn’t change your status you will be or continue to a landing immigrant as long as you fulfill your residency.Try to stay in Canada for the next couple of years to fulfill your residency and after its fulfill you and your family could renew your pr card or applied for citizenship good luck.
Thank you for your comment.
Do you guys have any idea that How long will it take to renew our PR card after fulfill Canadian Residency requirement and applied for new PR?

All depends on whether you get sent to secondary review which can take on average up to a year. Anywhere from 100ish days or more. Given that you will just meet the RO would anticipate that secondary review may be likely.
