Hi, I was in Canada for 4 years in the past 5 years. My PR card is expiring next month.

1. Can i travel to Canada on PRTD ?

2. If i get my PRTD in say June, is it ok to have 2 months of gap between PR card expiry and PRTD ?

1. Yes.
2. Yes, make sure you have enough time for it to be processed before your intended date of travel.
