I got my PR card last week. I just found that there is an error on my name. All my name is on last name column, no first name. All my study permits and work permits were used to have first and last name.
Due to my passport which does not clarify last name and first name. So in my COPR, I only have last name. I tried to email CIC multiple time and explain my situation during my application, but they told me was that they can only follow what my passport said.
Now, The problem is when I landed in September. I told the officer about the error, she told me that she can help me correct via the system. And she also sign my paper with her number, and she handwritten my name on the first name column. So I applied the new SIN number by using the COPR, so I got the first and last name......
Now, my PR card and SIN number might not match due to the error on my name.
Should I apply the reissue PR card ? Will they correct my name?

Congrats . Since you got PR card in hand, CIC help center people will assist you properly on this because now CIC center people can access you profile from the system. Now they can easily tell you what can be done in this situation.
Moreover, everyone in this forum certainly having more knowledge on things to get PR not after PR. But for sure you will get correct answer when you call CIC.
