Hello,

I need to clear border at Vancouver by air to obtain my PR Card, I have just recieved my COPR travel documents. I am shocked at the little timeframe I am given before my medical runs out and my travel documents expire ( I thought I had 1 year to arrange moving once i obtained PR), therefore leaving my wife (canadian citizen) and I only a couple of weeks to uproot from Australia. We have plans in motion to move over in Feb 2019.
My questions are:

1. Has anybody tried/ or is it possible to fly over to Vancouver, clear border, apply for PR Card and then fly back to Australia? (within 1 week)

2. I have relatives in Canada that i can mail PR Card too and they could send it on but do I need to sign for the package in Canada?

3. Does my wife need to be with me when I land in Vancouver or even need to be in Canada?, as currently she lives in Australia. (This could save an airfare!).

Any information or advice on this would greatly appreciated.

Thanks

1. Yes.
2. No.
3. No.

This is the same as I did, but from the UK and Toronto, not Australia and Vancouver.
