I recently became a Permanent Resident and am looking at travelling to India for vacation.
I know I would need a visa if I attempt to fly via US but because i am not keen at getting a US visa, I am wondering if there's any visa requirements if I go via other countries or is the PR card sufficient. Is there anything else I might need to keep in mind as I look at booking flight tickets online?
Also In addition to cheapoair, is there any other trusted and recommended online sites you would suggest?

You will have to check with the country you fly through to see their visa requirements, as a general rule Canadian PR does not give you visa free entry into most countries
Try kayak.com ; orbtiz.com. But many a i time, there is some hidden factors like limited baggage; fare to change dates etc.
After nearly 980+ flights in 23+ years, I can tell, you should not prefer your frequent flyer airlines all the time especially on international sectors.
