I am on LMIA exempt closed work permit and I applied for PR under CEC this week. My closed work permit is expiring in 4 months. Can my employer file extension of closed work permit or they need to file BOWP. In case company does not prefer to apply BOWP, can I apply for BOWP and does it require LMIA?
