Can anyone help me? I was hoping for someone's expertise - I do not speak English and my friend is writing this question for me. I am a conventional refugee from the middle east. I applied for my PR application about 6 months ago and just received a letter stating a decision has been made and the local office will contact me. That was over a month ago. Does anyone know:
1) When they will contact me? Will it be by phone or mail?
2) In the ECAS - there are two steps, "Initial Assessment" and "Final Decision". What happens in these two steps? Do I need to do anything?
