PR Application Status Tracker shows COPR with expiry date, but main page says "In Progress" – What next steps?

Hi everyone,

I checked my PR Application Status Tracker three days ago, and it shows that there is a COPR (Confirmation of Permanent Residence) document with an expiry date. However, on the main page, the application status still says "In Progress."

I haven't received any email from the case processing office yet. I'm wondering if I need to wait for the eCOPR (electronic Confirmation of Permanent Residence) to be issued, or if there's something else I should be doing at this stage.

Has anyone experienced a similar situation? What were the next steps after receiving the COPR document number?

The COPR document number is largely meaningless in the PR processing - it's a necessary stage, but all they're doing is allocating a number for the document. One step forward but not a good indicator of what happens in terms of timing. That said, it is usually somewhat later in the process - signs for optimism but again, timing unclear.
