PR after Graduation

I have completed my BE in Mechanical engineering and im planning to do my masters in Canada but most of the courses are for one year... so im assuming that I will get only one year working visa.
If I do a PG course and then a Masters course will I get a 3 year work visa and then I can convert to Permanent residency or does it not work like that ?

Someone please help me out.
p.s. my BE marks also aren't that good...they are between 60-70%

A 3 year PGWP at least gives the opportunity to gain Canadian work experience to use that in any PR application

You obviously need in first instance to ensure that you meet the study permit requirements that the courses are relevant to your current qualifications and any work experience.

You certainly can. However there's never a guarantee you'll be able to convert this to PR afterwards.

In the guidance there is nothing to say 2 courses have to be both PG just says 2 courses started in a 2 year window which as long as total 2 years or more then could qualify for a 3 year PGWP. As for PR as scylla said never any guarantees with either PGWP or PR just have to follow the guidance and hope for the best.
