Hi all, my first post and looking for some advice so I can plan ahead accordingly.
Do CIC distinguish between a PR accompanying citizen or citizen accompanying PR while living overseas for meeting the residency obligations? I'm moving back to my country of origin for work and my Canadian partner will be coming with me, I will support her and sponsor her visa application, so there's no way to argue I'd be accompanying her. Do this matter in the eyes of CIC should I wish to return in the future once I no longer meet the physical residency requirements and need to rely on their secondary options.
