PPR to be sent to Vienna !

Hello, we went to VFS in Doha where my husband lives, they said that it’s not common the ppr format and never sending any passport to Vienna they only send to Abu Dhabi! They will transfer the file where it’s going to take 3 weeks for the file process to be transferred and then start issuing the visa!! My question is Can we send the passport and other docs needed via express mail with tracking number and inclined a pre paid envelope for a return!? And just ignore the whole VFS thing!!!

If you are not from a visa exempt country the whole return envelope thing is not valid for you. VFS is the only partner they use to transmit passports and you have no other choice but to use that. Your PPR letter will clearly state Instructions for the same. Since you say you need to send your passport, I am certain VFS is the only option.

Appreciate the reply , I do understand that but when it comes to the VFS , they are not familiar with sending to Vienna or any where else as requested in the letter Vienna!! I don’t want my file to be delayed at all since my pregnancy is up and down. VFS kinda forcing us to send file to Abu Dhabi ONLY and ask to transfer his file! It’s just to crazy to extend everything more than a month!

Another unbelievable fact they vfs said, he is the first person in Doha being sponsored by a spouse! They are not sure about the process! And no one was having Vienna before! They didn’t know nothing about their work!

Okay I did a little searching for you and found out you can request a change of VO for PPR stamping. The email to get to them would be the one on your ppr and you can also send a Case specific enquiry explaining your situation (VAC only forwarding to your country’s Embassy) and request them to authorise a change on an urgent basis since you are pregnant. Once you get an email from them authorising it (they don’t really reject the request) you can then submit your pp to doha VAC for stamping in Qatar itself.

Also when you send a webform make sure you upload your ppr too so they know you were requested submission to vienna. Should not be a problem. Hope this helps.
