Does the PPR request from Ottawa/LA guarantee that your visa will be approved? I havent heard of anybody getting a PPR request and than having their visa denied. I am asking because I dont want to delay my move to Canada any longer than necessary. So my plan is to give my 2 weeks notice to my employer when I receive the PPR request. Or is it better to just wait for the COPR in hand? Any and all opinions welcome.
Congrats to all who got their PPRs this week. I hope Ottawa is going to start to pumping these applications out!!!

I suggest you to wait till you receive your COPR because no one knows how long it will take to receive COPR at PPR request.Every embassy has different working methods..Like for New Delhi Office Its been over 32 days since I sent my PPR but there is no response because New Delhi Office sends PPR at the start of the processing and they keep the Passport till the processing is complete..So to be on safe side and not losing your job wait till you get ur COPR before giving notice to the employer...Good luck
