If you've already sent your passport to your visa office send a CSE requesting an urgent processing and attach your tickets with the request.
If you haven't sent your passport yet, either change your travel plan/booking (if possible), or request change of visa office (for issuance of PR visa & COPR) to your local Indian visa office.

If I receive my passport soon, can I still use the same passport and temporary visa to visit India? Will there be any changes or additional requirements for the visit? My temp visa is valid until Sep 2017.
It usually takes two weeks to get your passport back. Just wait till end of this month before sending a CSE. I sent my passport on December 02nd and I'm hoping to get it by next week.
I recently received PPR on 3rd Dec. How long does it takes to get my passport back?
Because before receiving PPR I have booked tickets to visit India to meet my parents in mid week of Jan.
Do I need to reschedule my visit to India or I will get my passport before that?

You're welcome. When you'll receive your passport with COPR, it will have new immigrant visa affixed in it which you can use for coming back after your visit and you'll have to complete your landing on your return (if your visa validity allows you enough time for travel to India). I think, IRCC will cancel your present temporary visa while issuing you the new one.
