PPR n visitor record

my spouse has received ppr today n he is already inside canada on visit visa n had submitted outland sponsorship application mow i have seem most ppl r getting copr directly instead of ppr n i have seen a person submitted passport to ottawa office n passport came back without visa n she was also on visit visa .. i emailed the london visa office multiple times already n informed them that spouse is in canada on visit visa .. now should we submit the passport or wait for lvo to reply back as we sent an email today after we got the passport request n also sent webform yesterday to cic.. His current visitor record expires dec 8,2020 so
do we need to extend that as well? bcz by the time his passport will be stamped at the ottawa office his visitor record must have been expired n someone told me that we need to have valid status until the landing process.
