Hey Folks, I received Passport request and have sent my passport and photos to Ottawa. The back of the photo has the name and complete address of the photo studio along with the date when the photo was taken. However, I forgot to write my name and dob behind the photo.

The Name and Date of Birth requirement has just been added. When I submitted my passport few days back the Photo requirements did not have that mentioned. See below.

I see it now...In fact i had saved the PPR Photo requirement pdf from CIC website just a few months ago, it wasn't there then.
So they seem to have updated it on 04th-Jan-2016. just 15 days ago....
I am sure those who sent it before 04th should definetely be fine and it'll sound ridiculous on CIC's part to reject a PR application for not writing name and DoB at the back of 1 photos (not even both). I'd like to believe CIC is much saner than that.
They won't do it. After all they are humans too and not robots. They to make their share of mistakes...and this is not even a mistake....its just not being updated enough.

I also saved the Photo requirements on my PPR day (Dec 30th) so I didnt notice the change when I sent the Passport on 16th Jan. This will not cause any issues, we dont need to worry.
I am sure they won't even ask you that.
Its not a missing signature that they want, its just the name and DoB. They might as well write it themselves, with all the demographic details of applicants already available in their forms. ;D
