I (principal applicant) have received Invitation to Apply for Canada PR and in the required documents to submit, Police Clearance Certificate(PCC) is required for me and my husband. I understand that PCC is required whether or not the spouse is accompanying. Here in Visakhapatnam, India, I applied for PCC and based on the ITA I received my PCC, but my husband's PCC request is not being accepted as there is no invitation addressed to him. What should I do?

Exactly our thought! So we went to the Regional Passport Office to meet with the Grievance Officer with our issue. He didn't meet us, but said through his assistant that, 3-4 similar cases came to them, so they will send a mail to the ministry of external affairs and let us know. I guess this is happening only in Andhra Pradesh, as I met another guy with a similar issue, who said his friends in other states got PCC quite easily!
