Hello seniors on this forum, maybe you could help me in answering my query. I have got Postgraduate work permit of Canada recently. I applied for it online when I finished my PhD in Canada. When I was searching for a job, I got postdoc in South Korea, I left Canada and joined the postdoc job. My PGWP was processed and it was mailed to me here in South Korea by my friend in Canada. Now, I have a question. If I want to get a job in Canada, can I enter Canada based on my PGWP? Is there any restriction that I should not work in other country when I have PGWP in Canada? Note that I have TRV to enter to Canada till August 2013. Will I be allowed in Canada if I have not left the job in Korea ?
Since you have a valid TRV and a valid PGWP, then you should have no trouble entering Canada. Canada doesn’t care if you work in any other country even if you are authorized to work here at the same time.
