I have a very specific question relating to PPR documents submitted. If a dependent applicant is a US citizen, do we need to submit their passport it a photocopy of the first page. CIC is taking a while to respond.

This is for Ottawa but most of the points seems valid when we are arriving into Canada as New PRs. Good Read. I will try to find if there is information for other locations in Canada

Spoke with the VFS representative. This is what he mentioned.
- two recent photographs along with your passport for primary and dependent(s) (as per specifications and stamped with details by studio)
- PPR letter copy
- Original Passports of the primary and dependent(s) and copies
In addition, it is better to take the VFS consent forms signed if only one person is going to submit the applications.
He mentioned some 643 INR for processing for each applicant. Extra charges for courier and sms services.
Hi all, need your inputs:
PPR: July 18th
Passport sent: July 19th
Upcoming travel outside Canada: August 27th
Now, once I get my PR, do you recommend that I do my landing first (Etobicoke, one of the US border locations) before I go on my travel or do my landing at the airport when I return anyway? The reason I ask is, if I do my landing before, I will need some additional document to travel outside of Canada, is that right?
