My wife completed her ECA and Language tests before marriage and hence both reports contain her name as it was before marriage. Post marriage, she's changed her last name to mine and updated the same name across all primary ID documents such as Passport, etc.
Could someone please advise if this difference in name on the passport/PR application vs that on the ECA and IELTS report be a reason for refusal?

Make sure that you also provide them with name change document i.e., gazatte or affidavit undersigned by her.

Thanks! I'll make sure to include an affidavit and elaborate on this in the LOE as well. Hopefully, that should be enough

One more thing.
Do tick the option in generic application form too.
There is one field that asks if you were known by any other name previously? So tick that as YES and mention old name.
Thats enough.
I dont see any need to mention it in LOE.

Sure, will keep that in mind.
I thought it would be better to mention it in LOE to be on the safer side, just a brief explanation and nothing too detailed.
