Hi members, I have submitted my ITA and also received AOR , now my status shows as following . Any idea what is happening now have they initiated the background check ?

This is what we all see once we submit our application, the first step is R10 completeness check, they verify whether all your documentation is complete and satisfactory in regards to the requirements, after that they start eligibility examination , R10 is completed usually after you see that your medicals are passed and receive BIL.
Regarding your Background the message you see is what all we see since day one , this is the new norm , the background check consist of criminality , security, Info sharing and is usually done after eligibility is passed (more precisely security) , which means after 3-5 months for most applicants, however for PNP applications the background check is initiated much earlier and completed earlier than for FSW for example.
