Dear Seniors,
Now that I have received ITA, I tried to book an appointment with a panel physician listed by CIC.
However, when I speak with them, they told me I could only attend medical exam when I get the letter from my local Consulate. Is this true?
I am so confused now. It says that I have to upload medical exam details for my PR application.
This page caused even more confusion.

I am applying via Express Entry. I am the sole applicant.

Yea, one hospital here did that to me. thats because they dont know the procedure I think... You need to tell them that you are doing an upfront medical for Express Entry. The other clinic I spoke to knew about this and sorted it out themselves..

Thanks skdubai, I insisted I needed an "UPFRONT" medical exam, and they finally understood what I meant.
So, for post ITA, I should ALWAYS want to do exams upfront?
Another question. I'm waiting on my son's passport to be issued. Can I do the exams before I get the passport, or should i wait?
You need to carry your passport for medical.
