Hi guys, I got my ITA on Dec 22 with 487. I have several questions regarding the documents. Your thoughts and advice are greatly appreciated.

When I first created my EE profile, I put $12200 under the settlement fund. However after paying my vehicle insurance for the whole year (I live in BC, so....) a week ago (didn't expect to receive ITA this year), I am running short. Since I am invited to apply under CEC, and when I changed the settlement fund to 0, it does not require a proof of fund any more, I wonder if I could just provide a letter of explanation regarding this issue or a LOE is not necessary even?

Secondly, I was using another name prior to my 18th birthday and I changed my name literally on my birthday. Now all my legal documents and certificates carry my current name. Can I just provide a letter of explanation regarding this or I need some sort of legal proof?

Thirdly, police certificate was required and submitted when I first applied for student visa. I have only been back my own country for a month since I came to Canada. Can I just provide a letter of explanation as the situation would logically indicate that I have a clean record in my country?

Thanks guys and have a good holiday!

1 - No explanation needed you are invited under CEC so no POF required.
2 - First time I've seen this, can't help you here.
3 - No, you need a new PCC.

For question 2, you need a legal name change document.
