Post grauadation work permit is extenable if passport expiry

I am studying Full time two years Master program and will graduate in Sep,2013 but my passport is valid up to Jan,2015 so after my graduation i have to apply for post graduate work permit which is normally 3 years.

according to my passport expiry they gives me 2 years of post graduate work permit?

Please suggest me it would be ex tenable or not?

Hey. I had the same problem: I was given a 2 year Post grad WP since that my passport was expiring in 2 years.
After 1.5 years, I renewed my passport in my home country and then applied for an extension for my work permit in Canada. No need for an LMO, it was so easy, I received my updated work permit paper just in a few weeks.
