Hi, I have a question regarding my wife's Post-Graduation work permit. She recently graduated with a Master's degree on f Carlton UV. I know she needs to hire and have three paychecks to apply for the work permit.
On the other hand, I am a temporary resident with open work permit and recently registered incorporation for non-resident in Ontario for my startup. I wish my wife to work with me on our new startup, and I'm willing to hire and pay her, but I'm not sure if that is adequate for immigration if she works for her spouse on non-resident incorporation or not?
In order to apply for Post graduate work permit your wife needs, her passport, her study permit copy, her transcripts, and a letter of graduation from the university stating she graduated officially. That's all. She does not need to show proof of work. As far as I know. Since that's what I did when I submitted my PGWP application two weeks ago.
After she submits her application she can work full-time anywhere. As long as your startup is legal and recognized, I don't think she will have a problem working there. But I don't know much about that.
