Hi
I am an international student. I am going to finish my course on April 23 and around may 10 I will get my course completion certificate. So my doubt is,as per the new rule can I able to work as a full time employee before I get my post graduation work permit????

Full-time students are permitted to work off-campus as long as their study permit doesn't expire yet. So as long as your SP is still valid, I think you can start working. However, your employer should be informed that you are in the process of getting your work permit, and once your study permit expires while your PGWP hasn't been issued yet, you cannot engage in work.

Thank u so much.. Is it possible to extend my spouse's open work permit at the same time when I apply for my post graduation work permit???
