Hello. I’m a student in Canada going to Sheridan College located in Brampton Ontario for welding techniques. I did some reading about PGWP, and I’m currently enrolled in a 1 year course. I also read that PGWP helps students achieve their PR status. If I’m enrolled in a 1 year course I assume that I won’t be anywheres close to getting PR because the course isn’t 2 years or more. Anyone have any advice whether I should try and switch to the 2 year program or stick with the 1 year?
