I have completed my Masters in Public Health and currently Iam working with a small NGO( Non government organization/ Non profit organization). However Iam not too happy with the pay scale, and I thinking to opt for PG Diploma linked to Health in Canada as pay scales are far better. What are the chances of application rejected considering that I am applying for PG Diploma after Masters. Also if there is anyone who has gotten accepted for PG Diploma after Masters , kindly do share the experience.
Thanks
PS- Iam already 30 dont know if that might make a difference too.

Depends on your profile but high rate since you have a Masters. How will your pay increase in your home country after taking (and spending tens of thousands) on a PGD? List the better jobs and pay you will receive in your home country. You need to show career advancement.

My actual aim is to apply for PNP after completion of my course since I get points for obtaining education in Canada. But I can say that social worker degree will pay off in India since it will give me ground level experience and will open doors for me to enter social sector.

You need to provide more detail to VO about the benefits of Canadian education in Indian social sector. Which is actually not that convincing, but you can mention that how the developed world does social sector and you want to implement those in India

No I completed a Masters degree in Public Health and now I want to pursue a PG Diploma course in Social Work. I aim to apply to for Alberta PNP, since it gives you points for education in Canada.

To give you an honest answer, it actually wont. But since Canada provides a 2 year bracket to search for jobs, I am very confident that I will get a job in Canada in the social sector.

You have a Masters so before thinking of PR, you need to get your study permit. You need to show that the program and spending tens of thousands of dollars will improve on your education and give you a better job with higher pay in your home country.
well firstly because I am currently working in an NGO so I will be having work experience and secondly because Masters in Public Health is aligned with an MSW. Most NGOs work in health domain, so I already have degree in health. An PG Diploma would be an added advantage.

An advantage in your home country, not Canada that is what you have to show for a study permit. The NGO job market in Canada is very small so competition is high with those with Canadian Masters and Canadian work experience. You are going for Alberta PNP so are you going to work and live in Alberta during your PGWP? Few NGOs in Alberta.
