I applied for my post graduate work permit in August last year it has been 6 months but i have not got any updates till now.My visa is also going to expire in April i am really worried about my application. All of my classmates got their work permit within three months. Any suggestions please??

I have sent a webform and they replied we are evaluating your application and we will make all necessary efforts to finalize it as soon as possible, it was 15 days ago and i am still waiting. I am scared to contact them too many times.
