Hi all,

I am graduating in this December and applying for 3 years post graduate work permit.
Now I am alone here in Canada but would like to call my spouse and 7 years old son after my graduation. Can I apply for PGWP for my spouse even if she is in home country?

Shall I apply for Post Graduate work permit for me and spouse and then call my family?
or
I should apply under TRV for my family and then only I can apply for work permit for my spouse when she is here?

FYI, so far i do not have job offer.

1. You have to be working in a NOC A, B or O job on your PGWP before your wife can apply for a Spousal open work permit, and you have to prove the job is that NOC level.
2. Until you have the job, you wife and child can only apply for a TRV.
