Hi! I am currently living in Quebec on a post graduate work permit. I plan on applying for my CSQ and then to the federal government for pr. However before getting my CSQ I will need to get a certificate of French knowledge. I expect to complete that in March/April. My PGWP expires at the end of April. Is there anyway to extend my permit or get something new? I have a job and don't want to lose it just because there might be a couple weeks between receiving my CSQ and when my permit expires. Thanks!
You'd need to get an approved LMIA.
Even if it I would only need it for a few weeks? Seems like a bit of a waste no?
