Hi! Guys,

I'm interested in a Post Baccalaureate In Tourism from Thompson Rivers University. The course is officially 3 Semesters or takes 1.5 yrs to complete but the faculty says that it can be done in 2 yrs to complete the mandatory time frame for a a longer post study work permit. Is that so?

Or does a program have to be officially two yrs (4 Semesters) long in duration for me to be eligible for a longer Post Study Work Permit.

Yes, it does. You cannot take a 1 year program, stretch it for 2 years by taking it part time and get a 3 yr PGWP.

To get a 3 year long PGWP , a regular program has to take 2 +years of FULL time study.
