Possibility of study permit with 10 year gap

Hi all,

I have bachelor's degree with close to 10 years experience.

I have applied for post graduate certificate courses and have got the acceptance.

Having bachelor's degree completed at 2010. Do I have a chance in getting my study permit approved ?

I don't have any ties with Canada
Currently in US on work visa. Will be applying from here.

You will need to explain why going back to school in Canada is suddenly important for your career prospects in your home country and is relevant to your previous education and work history. You have the added pitfall of applying from a third country as ideally you need to show ties to your country of citizenship.

As I'm sure you know, if they suspect the course is just a device to get out of the US and into Canada, they may refuse your application.
