Hi guys,

I've got a positive LMIA today. I'm not sure what to do next. In order to obtain a work permit, would I have to apply from my country? or should I apply in person at a canadian border? I'm from Chile (visa exempt) and I am currently outside Canada.

Thanks! :)

Hi

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/work/port.asp

Foreign nationals may apply for a work permit on arrival at a port of entry (POE) in Canada if

- they are exempt from the requirement for a temporary resident visa and if their job falls within the Temporary Foreign Worker Program (i.e., they are required to obtain an LMIA) and if a positive or neutral LMIA has been issued by the time they arrive;
